May 8 Tornadoes and Severe Weather
The National Weather Service confirmed that four tornadoes impacted the Commonwealth on May 8:
- 1 low-end EF2 tornado in Stafford County
- 3 EF1 tornadoes in Henry, Appomattox and Pittsylvania Counties
April 28 Tornadoes and Severe Weather
Governor Kaine has declared a state of emergency in response to severe weather that struck the Commonwealth on April 28.
